Kathryn Blankenship a life-long resident of New Canaan , combines her creative business and artistic skills in establishing Vineyard Gardens Florist and Nursery as the premier floral and landscape destination in the area. This is Kathryn's entrepreneurial renaissance, having previously owned and operated a similar concept at the same location. Driven with an ardent desire to restore the landmarked nursery and sensing the community's need for a top product with a focus on customer service, Kathryn gathers a highly skilled staff to realize a bold vision.

Deborah Valentine – Floral Designer. Deborah, a graduate of Berkley with a degree in Visual Arts, boasts 20 years experience in the floral design industry. Deborah's knowledge of the couture pulse of the floral world helps her anticipate her clients needs from the classic to the current.

Sarah Blankenship – Store Manager. Sarah, while completing her bachelor's degree at the University of Conneticut , Stamford , helps manage Vineyard Gardens, by expressing her creative skills in all aspects of the business. When Sarah is not in the field designing beautiful container gardens, she can be found immersed in wonderful floral arrangements or fully engaged in helping our customers implement their floral and nursery desires.

Jim Kenyon - Nursery Manager. Jim has been involved with natural science, gardening and design since he was a student at The New School, and a Biology student at The University of Connecticut. For 20 years, he worked at various non-pro-fit nature centers, arboretums, and public gardens. Jim is a passionate garden designer, whose knowledge of trees, shrubs, and flowers has resulted in projects large and small. As a museum curator, he was featured in The New York Times for a landscape exhibit entitled “Stone Features”. Jim has also won numerous awards for his collection of rare succulent plants. Enthusiasm for your garden is assured, as Jim is always looking forward to the next project!

Dominica Baharian, Floral designer: Dominica 's designs have been featured in the annual flower shows at the Burr Homestead in Fairfield CT, for the Fairfield County Horticultural Society and for numerous Westport and Fairfield Connecticut house tours. Dominica 's talents excel in special gala events, creating a demand by many celebrated personalities in Fairfield and Westchester Counties. “The most stylized of floral designs should be fluid, soft and natural.”

Michael Passarello – Greenhouse Conservatory Manager. Michael's vast and extensive knowledge of interior and exterior garden plants coupled with his years of experience while working in Texas and California are ideal compliments to his enthusiasm for proper care and cultivation of all facets of horticulture. Michael also hosts several symposiums throughout the year instructing plant care and maintenance.

Gregg Fiisk – Gregg, formerly of Fisk & Company out of Redding has joined us. Gregg has designed for clients as diverse as Barbara Streisand, Christopher Walken, Ralph Lauren, & director/producer Barry Levinson. His work has appeared on television and in several national and international magazines including Architectural Digest, Bride and Colonial Homes.
